Ashburnham Place is a former stately home set in the heart of East Sussex, surrounded by 220 acres of grounds, gardens, woodlands and lakes. It is now a Christian Prayer and Conference Centre.

As well as the camping areas on the lawn, there will be large marquees where the main meetings for the adults, youth and kids will take place; a bookshop; and somewhere to buy a quick bite to eat and chill out.

If you have any additional needs or access issues, please send an email to Sarah and let her know, as we'd love to help in any way we can.

Accommodation in the house

There are over 280 beds in single, double, triple and family rooms, of which 80 have en-suite facilities. There are a limited number of disabled rooms. For those staying in the house, meals are provided from Friday evening until Monday lunchtime. Bookings for the house are strictly on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.

There is plenty of room to camp in the grounds, so bring your own tent and join your church and 2000 others on the Ashburnham lawn. You will be allocated a plot 5m x 5m which you should not exceed for health and safety reasons. Campers will self-cater, so either bring your own food or shop at one of the local supermarkets. We will provide hot showers, toilets and washing up areas.
