Repercussions Exhibition: Open Submission

Repercussions, a creative arts and design exhibition hosted by Creative Arts Network, opened today for submissions.

This year's theme is 'Repercussions'. Entrants are encouraged to respond to the theme however they wish. The only restriction is that the piece needs to be able to be exhibited either in print, digitally or live on 7th December in London, at the New Community centre. When selecting the entries, the panel will be looking for: Creative composition, originality, communication strength and skilled execution.

How to Submit Your Entry:

1. The exhibit is now open for submissions until midnight 23rd November 2013

2. Email submissions should be sent to chris@creativeartsnetwork.co.uk. You will receive a confirmation email when your submission is received. Please keep file sizes as small as possible.

3. Print submissions should be sent to: Creative Arts Network, New Community Church, 24 Station Road, Sidcup, DA15 7DU

4. Please include a short description of your entry of no more than 150 words (if your entry is chosen this text will be displayed along side your submission), your contact details and delivery address for your free limited edition exhibition poster and invite to the Private View on 7th December.

5. Entry is Free

General wall space per exhibitor is 4ft wide and 7ft high. Exhibitors can use this space as they wish. If you require more space please let us know when you submit your entry and we will try and cater for your piece. Exhibitors can display work in print, 3D model, live performance (space depending) or digitally (motion image/film). Further exhibition display details will be sent to those selected to exhibit. For those selected to exhibit the set-up day is 7th December 1pm-7pm.

Awards and freebies:

Once the submission deadline is reached (23rd November), 25 entries will be selected and the chosen candidates will be invited to exhibit their pieces. Of these chosen exhibitors, one winner will be selected by a panel of Creative Arts Network industry professionals to receive the 'Creative Arts Network Award' and will receive a year's subscription to Eye magazine. The first 50 entries will receive a hand numbered A2 limited edition screen-print exhibition poster. Printed by Bob Eight Pop on GFSmith papers and will receive an invitation and +1 to the ‘Private View' exhibit with live jazz and complimentary drinks held on 7th December 8-10:30pm.
