Thank you for your interest in the New Ground Academy. We are now accepting applications for the September 2018 intake. The application deadline is Thursday 31st May 2018. This application form will take about half an hour to complete, so grab a cuppa, make yourself comfortable, and make sure you have the following information/files to hand as you'll need them during the application process:


Elder's reference as a Word document, PDF or text file (the blank form for your elder to complete can be downloaded by clicking here: Academy Reference Form


Details of your employment history;


Details of any previous training, serving or leadership development;


Details of any leadership responsibility you expect to have in your local church during your time at the Academy.

What happens next

When you submit this form, you will receive an automated confirmation - if you do not receive confirmation, it is unlikely that your application has been received and you will need to re-submit.

Processing applications and checking elder's references takes around four to six weeks depending on the number of applicants. By the end of June you should receive confirmation of your place at the Academy, together with a request that your fees be paid for the academic year. Please be aware that fees need to be paid by 14 July to avoid extra costs and that your place is not guaranteed until your fees have been paid.
