Core team

New Ground is led by Dave Holden and his team: Dale Barlow (Oxted), Henk Kersten (Maastricht), Chris Taylor (The Hague), Jonathan Le Tocq (Guernsey) and Jim Partridge (Mid-Sussex).

Dave Holden

Dave Holden leads New Ground and also travels internationally for the Newfrontiers team, particularly helping national team leaders. David is married to Liz and they are part of New Community Church, SE London, UK. They have four grown-up children and an ever increasing number of grandchildren. He is an ardent West Ham supporter, lover of jazz and avid reader of history.


Dale Barlow

Dale Barlow is married to Jayne and has three beautiful grown up daughters. Dale is an elder at King's Church in Oxted, Surrey, and also serves New Ground in a number of ways including running the Board and Management Team. When not working he enjoys hitting a golf ball badly around the local course or watching Harlequins clock up another victory in the rugby!


Henk Kersten

Henk Kersten is very happily married to Eunee. They enjoy time with their family, walking and cycling. They live in Maastricht – the only area with hills in the whole of The Netherlands, and are part of Redeemer Maastricht.


Chris Taylor

Chris Taylor leads the team of elders at Redeemer in The Hague. Originally from Botswana, he has lived in South Africa and the UK before moving to Holland with his family in 2010. Apart from being passionate about Redeemer(!), Chris loves sport, travel, and photography. He is married to Karin and they have three children.


Jonathan Le Tocq

Jonathan Le Tocq helped plant what is now Church on the Rock in Guernsey when he was a student. He has now pastored there for over 25 years. Jonathan, married to Judith, has a passion for the re-evangelisation of Europe and to see a revival of the Kingdom of God invading every aspect of life, public and private. Following Jesus led him into politics and being elected to serve in Guernsey's Government as Chief Minister.


Jim Partridge

Jim Partridge leads the team at The King's Church Mid-Sussex. He is a sussex boy, born and bred, and enjoys sport (Liverpool FC fan), food (everything needs chilli sauce) and he tries to run. He is married to Dominique and they have four children.
